About Marblehead
Marblehead is a coastal New England town in Essex County, Massachusetts, with roots and history in commercial fishing. Marblehead was once the fishing capital of Massachusetts and was a major shipyard and is often referred to as the birthplace of the American Navy, a title sometimes disputed with nearby Beverly. Marblehead is home to 35 commercial lobstermen landing 660,415 pounds of lobster annually.
